Bonica '82, bred by Francis Meilland, France 1982.
In the book, "The Quest For The Rose" by Roger Phillips and Martyn Rix, Bonica was praised as being "the most free-flowering, best repeating rose we have seen in our travels." I have often seen it used in city plantings, to great effect. Disease free and everblooming, it is truly a winner. This is the sort fof rose to recommend to people who say they can't grow roses.
